AMK Global Staffing is working with a leading healthcare provider dedicated to high-quality medical services and patient safety & committed to enhancing patient care through consistently high-quality laboratory and imaging services.
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform essential lab procedures, including haematology, chemistry, and transfusion medicine, under the supervision of the Supervisor or delegate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical procedures as per established policies and SOPs.
- Collect, receive, prepare, and process laboratory samples.
- Perform maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
- Enter, retrieve, and store information related to sample analysis.
- Review quality control results and troubleshoot issues.
- Relay test results to healthcare providers and support staff.
Qualifications:
- CSMLS certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
- Graduation from a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Recent core lab courses or one year of related experience within the last six years.
Skills:
- Effective communication with patients, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of core lab testing, techniques, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with lab equipment and computerised information systems.
